OBIS Timer (also called a time switch or programmable timer) is an electrical control device used to automatically switch electrical circuits ON and OFF at preset times. It is commonly mounted on a DIN rail inside a distribution board and can be programmed for daily or weekly schedules. Common uses: Automatically controlling security and outdoor lighting. Switching water pumps on and off at scheduled times. Controlling water heaters (boilers) to save energy. Operating signboards, garden lights, and street lights.
